Украина вышла на новый уровень в киберспорте! Национальный университет физического воспитания и спорта Украины начинает подготовку по специальности «Киберспорт (e-Sport)». «Возможно, уже в ближайшем будущем Украина станет киберспортивной Меккой» — едва президент Украинской федерации электронного спорта Иван Данишевский предположил это, изменения не заставили себя ждать.
Решение обратить внимание на киберспорт не было спонтанным. Украинские киберспортсмены хорошо показывают себя на международной арене с 2000-х годов. Многие слышали об успехах команды Na’Vi (Natus Vincere — рожденные побеждать). Достижения коллектива не случайны. Годы усердных тренировок дают закономерный результат.
Согласно данным Esports Earningsе сегодня в мировом топ-100 игроков с самыми высокими призовыми доходами представлено пять украинцев:
Роман Фоминюк (Resolut1on) — $1,38 млн;
Владимир Миненко (No [o]ne) — $1,32 млн;
Илья Ильюк (Lil) — $902 тыс.;
